What is ductwork installation?

The process of ductwork installation may involve installing waste extraction systems, vacuum systems, and dust and fume extraction systems. The technician who installs the ductwork links the ducting to the HVAC equipment and fine-tunes it to run at peak efficiency, give maximum comfort, and last as long as possible.

If your home’s ductwork has been properly installed, it can maintain your comfort and regulate the temperature. Incorrect installation may result in difficulties, ranging from air leakage to the complete inability of the heating or to function.

Tips for ductwork installation

Determine the Efficiency

Ductwork system must be both energy- and cost-efficient. If the ductwork installation is carried out with care and precision, it will be one of the most cost-effective methods for heating and cooling your home or commercial property; consequently, you will save energy and money

Select the correct size

The incorrect size for your home’s HVAC system can result in several temperature regulation concerns and catastrophic damage to the HVAC system such as air leaks, which can cause your HVAC system to work harder to compensate for insufficient ductwork sealing

Keep it sealed

Ductwork installation requires careful planning to arrange return vents in the ideal location, which is required for efficient heating and cooling of a residence. Typically, we place returns in open areas of your home, such as corridors, under staircases, and other passages, so they can pull in enough air to be carried back to your HVAC system.
