Water Heaters & Tankless Repair

There are many reasons why you may need to get your water heater repaired. Common issues include the following:

  • Rust
  • The application process or equipment size is incorrect
  • The installation was done incorrectly
  • The water pressure is high or fluctuating
  • Water line or valve leaks
  • Faulty electrical or control systems
  • Mineral or sediment buildup

Our technicians are skilled professionals who can troubleshoot any problems and recommend what repairs need to be done.

It's important to note that a licensed and skilled technician must repair propane and natural gas water heaters, so don't try this yourself! We are available 24/7 and can assist you safely and efficiently.

Water Heater Tank

Whether you heat with gas or electricity, water heaters may significantly impact the average household energy cost. When choosing between the two, consider these factors:

  • Gas water heaters are typically more effective than electric heaters and quickly heat water. Power outages only impact power-vented units.
  • Electric water heaters heat water slower, have lower upfront costs, and are impacted by power outages.

With the professionals at First Choice Heating & Air Conditioning, you can rest assured that the right decision is made when choosing a water heating system to rent in GTA. With a wide range of high-quality brands to choose from, our team will guide you in your choice.

Tankless Water Heater

Tankless water heaters have many benefits, such as:

  • Energy efficient
  • Less risk of leaks
  • Continuous hot water supply in your home
  • Energy consumption is less due to using hot water only when you require it
  • They're small enough to be placed in any room in your home

Make First Choice Heating & Air Conditioning your first choice when renting a tankless water heater. Our team will guide you in choosing one of our high-quality brands with a standard warranty.

Had an issue with the old A/C not working texted Shane and he was by the next day. He seems to be available by phone, text email and whatsapp all the time and answers all questions. If I (customer) don't want something he will not push it on you. He is very hardworking, honest and knows what he is doing, and if somethings not right he will make sure it's right and explain the reasoning. Unit was 25 yrs old and had to be replaced due to old low refrigerant not widely available or used anymore and could have a leak. So the A/C unit + condenser and motherboard for it to communicate to the old furnace. I mentioned about different brands that I liked and disliked and no pressure on choosing which one. We worked out a deal and the install was completed successfully. I highly recommend Shane for any HVAC gas, A/C, or heating work.

We called Shane recently when we discovered our hot water tank was leaking from the base. He came immediately, diagnosed the problem and offered us solutions. With his help we decided on a Rinnai tankless heater and 2 days later he installed it!! His work was excellent, his prices very fair, he's great to deal with, and best of all he came by a couple of days later to check that everything was working fine and we were happy with his job. So yes, we'll happily recommend him to anyone needing their HVAC serviced/repaired! Thank you, Shane!!!

Shane from First Choice replaced our 40 year old furnace which had died. Since this was a no heat situation he changed his schedule so that he could service our home. He is very knowledgeable helped us in the decision-making process on what size of furnace to get. He didn't try to oversell us rather educated us on what was required. I had a great experience with him I would highly recommend Shane for any of your HVAC needs.
